The Christ Prep Patriots begin their 2012 campaign by traveling to Maysville, Mo. tomorrow night to compete in a round-robin "Jamboree." The Patriots will compete in a scrimmage format against three other teams--Maysville High, Trenton High, and South Harrison (Bethany) High. CPA will get 12 offensive and 12 defensive plays each against the three Missouri schools.
The Jamboree will provide a good pre-season test for the Patriots, and should reveal the team's strengths and weaknesses at this point in the team's summer camp. Following the Jamboree the Patriots will have a couple more weeks of work before opening regular season play on August 31 against Jefferson County North.
The Jamboree begins at 7:00 p.m. tomorrow night in Maysville. Look for some photos and commentary Saturday morning.
