Christ Prep Loses Battle of Patriots

The Christ Prep Patriots lost to the Oklahoma City Patriots today 48-21 in a game held on a neutral field in Wichita. The game started out with great promise for CPA, as Davis White scampered around left end for a 56 yard rushing TD on CPA's first possession.

The OKC squad came back quickly, generating offensive yards on the ground and through the air. The Patriots ended up down by four touchdowns at intermission and failed to generate meaningful momentum in the second half, although Christ Prep added a kickoff return for a TD by Regan Hurley and another rushing TD by Tanner Metzdorf and a two point conversion by Chase Stamatis. All in all it was too little, too late for the CPA team as OKC consistently had an answer for anything CPA tried to execute offensively.

Christ Prep falls to 3-6 on the 2012 campaign as the team prepares to travel to Springfield, Mo. next Saturday to take on the Lighthouse Christian Chargers.
